This site is dedicated to the memory of Ashton Burrows.

My beautiful grandson Ashton. 22/4/14 - 30/4/14 Weight 930g You decided to arrive at 26 weeks whilst we were on holiday in France. The hospital was an hour and a half away, you turned grandma into a boy racer. Mummy had to be taken straight in to have an emergency operation, they worked so hard on you and after 2 hours you took your first helicopter ride to a specialist hospital. Your tiny fingers and tiny toes were so perfect I just wanted to squeeze them but we weren't allowed. For 6 days you were getting stronger and stronger. Mummy and Daddy would sit with you all day talking to you, then Mummy and Grandma would spend 2 precious hours every afternoon with you. Telling you about your big brother Sammy. He loved you so much. Unfortunately you took a sudden turn for the worst and there was nothing they could do for you. Mummy held you in her arms for hours talking to you and cuddling you. It was so sad. But Ashton I must say I am so privileged to have been part of your life even though it was so short. You took a huge piece of my heart with you but you left me with a huge piece of yours. I love you so much and miss you more than you can imagine. Sleep tight little man xxxxx
